Bot Detection
Bot detection levels and additional checks
The bot detection system analyses connections and distinguishes real players from bots. It uses signatures, behavioural analysis, and machine learning.
Levels
The level controls how strict the checks are. The higher the level, the more bots are caught — but at maximum levels there may be slight delays when players connect.
- Off — no checks are performed
- Low — basic checks, minimal impact on players
- Medium — recommended for most servers
- High — for servers that are frequently targeted
- Paranoid — maximum strictness
Additional options
Enhanced detection — enables an additional set of checks for more accurate bot identification.
Automatic filtering activation — when bots are detected, enhanced filtering activates automatically.
Bot blocking — instantly blocks certain bots without additional checks.
