Domains
Adding and verifying domains
A domain is the address players use to connect to your server. Add the root domain (e.g. myserver.com), not a subdomain. On paid plans its subdomains (play.myserver.com, mc.myserver.com) work automatically once the root is verified.
Adding a domain
Inside a network, go to the Domains tab and click Add domain. Start with your root domain (e.g. myserver.com). On paid plans its subdomains (play.myserver.com, mc.myserver.com) are covered automatically by wildcard once the root is verified.
Verification
After adding a domain it needs to be verified. MineGuard generates a unique TXT record that you add to DNS. This confirms you actually own the domain.
Type: TXT
Name: _mineguard.myserver.com
Value: mineguard-verify=f7a3b2c1d4e5...
TTL: 300After adding the record, click Verify in the panel. Verification usually completes within a couple of minutes. If it doesn't work, check that the TXT record was added correctly and that DNS has propagated.
Subdomains and aliases
On paid plans every subdomain of a verified domain works through the protection automatically (wildcard matching). Once myserver.com is verified, play.myserver.com, mc.myserver.com and any other subdomain are protected right away, no extra setup in the panel.
On paid plans you do not add subdomains anywhere in the panel. Analytics are tracked per subdomain automatically from real traffic, so play.myserver.com and mc.myserver.com show up on their own once players connect through them. Just point a CNAME for the subdomain at your protected address.
