Caching & MOTD
MOTD, icon, online count and server list ping settings
Cache settings control what players see in the server list and when connecting.
Server List Ping
Ping passthrough — when enabled, MineGuard requests the MOTD, online count, and icon from your real server and shows them to players in the server list. When disabled, the custom MOTD is shown instead (see below).
Online MOTD
Custom message in the server list when your server is running. Supports Minecraft color codes (§). Maximum 750 characters.
Offline MOTD
The message players see in the server list when your server is unavailable or under attack.
Offline icon
The server icon (favicon) shown when the server is offline. Format: PNG, maximum 100 KB.
Kick message
The text shown to a player when they're kicked due to the server being unavailable. Maximum 200 characters, supports color codes.
Fake online count
Lets you change the displayed player count in the server list. Two parameters are available:
- Add — add a fixed number to the real online count (0–100,000)
- Multiply — multiply the resulting number (1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x, 4x, 5x)
